Jon has accumulated a wealth of experience during his journey from apprentice to Joint Owner and Managing Director of the company. The knowledge gained during the many roles he performed at all levels on sites, from engineer to contract management has left him well placed to understand and meet the demands of individual clients.
Having successfully established Avis Mechanical Ltd. as a leading provider of Mechanical Services, Avis Contracts was set up with a view to complementing and extending the range of services to provide a first class, complete fit out solution.
Since his arrival here in 1999 to work as a carpenter, Giedrius has worked his way from Site Manager to Construction Director of a large sub-contractor and ultimately as a Director and Joint Owner of Avis Contracts. These various roles have contributed to the range of his experience and knowledge brought to Avis Contracts to the benefit of the company and its Clients.
A Quantity Surveyor with fifteen years of Construction experience. Previously trained as an Aircraft Engineer, Sam brings an in-depth knowledge of construction and building structures and is responsible for all commercial aspects of the Contracts. Sam is a Fellow of the RICS and encourages open and clear commercial management for the Customer.
In addition to the normal range of safety management duties to ensure front line managers, supervisors and operatives are supported; Tim is responsible for the management, auditing and updating of the company management systems and external certification.
An experienced manager, with 19 years industry experience the last 9 involved in management of a number of new build residential fit out schemes as both a sub-contractor and main contractor’s site management team. The experience and knowledge gained has left Linas ideally placed to understand and resolve any problems likely to be experienced in the course of a project.
Another experienced manager with 12 years industry experience, gained most recently with a well-known construction company as part of the site management team tasked with delivering a number of large new build. In common with other Avis Managers, the experience gained carrying out a diverse range of site functions leaves Gedas well suited to understanding our Client’s requirements and ensuring successful project delivery.
A committed extreme sports participant, Egis brings a much more measured approach to delivering construction projects and achieves a different form of satisfaction on successful completion of a job. In common with the other Avis Managers, he has a good grounding in the various roles gained over 22 years from his own site experiences which leave him fully conversant with the demands experienced on a project.
Maria joined Avis Mechanical in 2008 originally responsible for all project support matters from procurement to finance including tenant liaison on large Decent Homes project. Maria has now progressed to a dedicated finance role allowing her to build on her accounting background utilising skills previously developed outside of the construction industry.
Catherine is the newest recruit to the Avis Group and was recruited to assist in the increasing day to day administration required as a consequence of the company’s expansion. Her previous experience in a variety of roles outside of the construction industry have left her well suited to meet the day to day demands of clients and colleagues across a wide range of business functions from Human Resources through Procurement to IT support.
